Friend the Under-Secretary indicated in the House on 19 April this year.—[Vol. 22; c.103.]—that representations on this point would be carefully noted. A letter from the National Federation of Housing Associations opposing this proposal was received subsequently. Various representations have been received from tenants of charitable housing associations seeking this extension and letters have been received from some hon. Members.
