§ Mr. NewtonWe have given an unqualified commitment that the value of the invalidity pension will be restored when the benefit comes into tax. As an earnest of that intent, we restored the abatement of invalidity allowance in November 1981. No date for the taxation of invalidity benefit is fixed at present.
