§ 40. Mr. Warrenasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will arrange for an assessment of the material emitted from coal-fired power stations.
§ Mr. Giles ShawI would refer the hon. Member to chapters 17 and 18 of the report on Coal and the Environment (published by HMSO in 1981) from the Commission on Energy and the Environment which discussed and assessed the combustion residues of coal and the effects of those residues. There are copies available in the Library of the House.
