§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe Government's position on the Black report on inequalities in health remains unchanged. Some of the report's recommendations aim at objectives similar to those identified in "Care in Action", which sets out the Government's policies and priorities in the health and personal social services fields. Others would involve expenditure on a scale which could not be contemplated.
