HC Deb 11 November 1982 vol 31 c263W
Mr. Austin Mitchell

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is his estimate of the likely cost of extending ordinary unemployment benefit to all unemployed persons, regardless of the length of such unemployment, between 60 and 65 years who are in receipt of an occupational State pension for (a) males and (b) females; and what would be the difference to the tax structure.

Mr. Rossi

No information is available concerning the number of unemployed persons who are in receipt of an occupational State pension.
