HC Deb 11 November 1982 vol 31 c225W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Prime Minister what action has been taken on behalf of Her Majesty's Government since 11 November 1981, when she received and welcomed the "Charter for the 80s" for disabled people world-wide, to implement its aims and recommendations.

The Prime Minister

Many of the aims and recommendations of "Charter for the 80s" reflect what already happens in this country. The remainder will continue to be taken into account in the development of our policies for disabled people. Our plans are described in the booklet "IYDP and After—the UK Response" which was published in July.
