§ 50. Mr. Stoddartasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will now make grants available to local authorities for structural repairs to Airey houses in their ownership.
§ Sir George YoungNo. Local authorities' expenditure on the repair or rebuilding of Airey houses still in their ownership will be taken into account in determining annual housing investment programme allocations.
Additional assistance outside the normal HIP allocation process would not be justified.
