Mr. Eadie

asked the Secretary of State for Energy (1) what is the current level of coal stockpiles; where they are located; and what are his estimates of such levels for the next 12 months;

(2) what are the existing levels of stockpiled coal in Scotland; where they are located; and what the expected levels are projected to be during the next 12 months.

Future levels of coal stocks will depend on a number of factors, including in particular the levels of coal production and demand.
