§ Mr. Haselhurstasked the Secretary of State for Transport what progress there has been towards the establishment of a service area on the M11 motorway.
§ Mrs. ChalkerAlthough we have now clarified our detailed requirements for the development of a service area at Birchanger, we have not yet been able to complete the land acquisition and significant aspects of this remain to be resolved. We shall invite tenders as soon as possible.
