§ Mr. YoungerCompulsory registration of sales of heritable property under the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979 came into effect for the county of Renfrew on 6 April 1981, and for the county of Dunbarton on 4 October 1982. Up to 3 November 1982, 10,905 units of property in these counties had been so registered. It is not possible to estimate the acreage represented by these units.
