§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Defence what consideration has been given to the 8,500-foot runway in the Falkland Islands to take DC 10 type aircraft.
§ Mr. BlakerConsideration is being given to the permanent airfield facilities which will be needed in the Falkland Islands to support the garrison; this includes examination of the length, width and strength of the runway needed to operate various types of aircraft.
