§ Mr. Adam ButlerThe latest date for which figures are available is 13 May 1982, when the number of people registered as unemployed in the Province was 112,978. The corresponding figure for May 1979 was 60,814. These figures represent percentage rates of 19.7 and 10.6 respectively.
