§ Mr. YoungerMy hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State with responsibility for industry and education and my noble Friend the Minister of State have met deputations from a number of areas affected by the changes in assisted area status due to take place on 1 August. The representations made are being taken into account in the Government's review of double-downgraded areas which is currently in progress.
