§ Mr. Colvinasked the Minister of Trade (1) if he will make a statement on the European Commission's proposals for a Council regulation liberalisation authorisation of inter-regional air services within the European Economic Community;
(2) if he intends to raise the question of the liberalisation of inter-regional air services within the European Economic Community at the meeting of European Economic Community Transport Ministers arranged for 10 June.
§ Mr. SproatI expect this subject to be discussed at the meeting of the European Economic Community Transport Ministers on 10 June. In the context of our efforts to promote a more liberal regime for civil air transport in Europe, we are working hard to support a measure which would allow greater flexibility in meeting the needs of the air traveller.
