§ Sir David Priceasked the Secretary of State for Transport what progress has been made with the construction of the missing section of the M27 between the parishes of Hedge End and Chilworth; and when he expects this section to be open to traffic.
§ Mrs. ChalkerA contract for construction of part of this section was let at the end of last year. The remaining contract was let on 17 May.
I expect the whole section to be completed and in use by the autumn of 1984.
