§ Mr. BlakerWhile the Government understand the need for public discussion on the operations in the South Atlantic, it is clearly important that this should be carried out in a responsible manner. Revised D-notices were issued to the media at the end of March by the defence press and broadcasting committee—composed of four Government officials and media representatives; a copy was placed in the Library. They are obviously relevant to the current operations and advice is given accordingly.
