§ Mr. Gordon Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what consultations he has held with local councils and councillors on the proposals contained in the review of Cmnd. 884; when the consultations were initiated; what form they took; and what steps he has taken to ensure that the public is aware of the effects of the possible implementation of the recommendations in the review, which deals with radioactive waste management.
