§ Mr. Cryerasked Prime Minister if she will list in the Official Report the conditions imposed on the use of official stationery from 10 Downing Street; and if she is satisfied that business and commercial transactions are not conducted utilising official notepaper or forms.
§ The Prime MinisterThe proper use of the range of official stationery at 10 Downing Street is well understood and the imposition of conditions of use are, as such, unnecessary. Members of a Prime Minister's family who live at No. 10 are properly entitled to use the address in correspondence and to make use of the informal uncrested notepaper. I am satisfied that there has been no misuse of official stationery.
