§ Mr. Peter ReesNo. The Government are concerned about the United Kingdom's growing deficit in visible trade with Japan. We and the European Community as a whole are continuing to press Japan to make changes in her trading practices so as to create more opportunities for our exports to the Japanese market and to secure moderation of her exports in sensitive sectors.
