§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the radius and location of the offshore Jurby bombing range; whether it has been moved during the last 10 years, and what was its previous location; what representations he has had regarding the siting of the bombing range; and whether he has had discussions with the Isle of Man authorities regarding its location and the location of low-flying aircraft.
§ Mr. WigginJurby Head bombing range is situated off the north-west coast of the Isle of Man. This location which is well known has not been altered in the past 1092W years. Negotiations to change the siting of the targets on the range have been in progress with the Isle of Man Government since last year.
