§ Mr. PattieWe estimate that the proportion of defence equipment procurement expenditure spent in Scotland is as follows:
per cent. 1979–80 6 1980–81 6 1981* 7 *April-December. These figures are for direct payments to main contractors and do not take account of payments made to subcontractors in Scotland. Expenditure on international collaborative projects is also excluded from these figures.
