§ Mr. Allen McKayasked the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the reply to the hon. Member for Keighley (Mr. Cryer) on 2 March, Official Report, c. 133–4, when he expects to introduce changes in regulations to require replacement tyres to meet international safety standards; and if he will take steps to ban roadside sales of remaining stock of cheap imported tyres.
