§ Mr. WakehamThe Government attach high priority to British Telecom's role in enabling Britain to respond to the opportunities presented by the new technology. We believe that private capital has an important part to play and have accordingly authorised work on a new BT bond. Other possible ways of developing partnership between BT and the private sector are also under review.
