§ Mr. AlisonI am exploring what more can be done to increase the already very considerable efforts being made within the Department of Employment group to assist the ethnic minorities to obtain as much benefit as possible from the wide range of employment and training services and special programmes now provided. In the main, however, improved employment opportunities for the ethnic minorities, as for others, will depend on the success of the Government's policies for promoting an economic climate more conductive to investment and growth.
