§ The Prime MinisterThere has been one meeting of the Anglo-Irish Inter-Governmental Council at ministerial level. This took place in London on 29 January, in two sessions. In the first session the Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland exchanged views on matters of mutual interest in the political, economic and security field. In the second session the Minister and my right hon. Friend the Lord Privy Seal discussed international developments of common concern. No date has been arranged for any future meetings.
