§ Mrs. ChalkerThe 1981 report of the national road maintenance condition survey, which is published today, shows that the condition of our roads has remained broadly constant over the last five years. Copies of the report have been placed in the Library of the House. This does not, of course, take account of the effects of the recent spells of bad weather.
