§ Mr. Brothertonasked the Lord Privy Seal if he will take steps to encourage United Kingdom-Namibia trade; and what arrangements are at present made by Her Majesty's Government in this respect.
§ Mr. LuceA successful outcome to the Five's efforts to achieve a peaceful Namibian settlement will provide the best climate for the improvement of trade in this region. Until the Namibian dispute is resolved, the Government continue to think that it would not be right to give promotional support for trade with Namibia.
