§ Mr. Andersonasked the Attorney-General what further consideration he has given to legislative changes to deal with the uncertainties in the law exemplified by the case of the Penlee lifeboat disaster fund.
§ The Attorney-GeneralI have now prepared the following memorandum, which contains guidelines for those making appeals in the future. I do not consider that legislative changes are necessary. It is the application of the law rather than the law itself which has caused uncertainty.
