§ Mr. Murphyasked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will consider introducing the necessary legislation to provide for a set wine measure for use in public houses, clubs, hotels and wine bars.
§ Dr. VaughanBefore considering such action I would need to be sure that there was significant public dissatisfaction with the present situation and that the legislation would not place burdens on the trade and the enforcement authorities. I am not, at present, convinced that this is so.
