§ Mr. NewtonThe level of social security benefits in relation to the movement of both prices and earnings is kept under continuing review. The basic statistics are included in the "Abstract of Statistics for Index of Retail Prices, Average Earnings, Social Security Benefits and Contributions", a copy of which is in the Library.
