§ Mr. RossiMy right hon. Friend has received a number of applications for him to exercise his powers under section 36 and correspondence from, amongst others, some voluntary organisations about how such applications are dealt with. Many of the issues raised by these applications are not straightforward and this, too, has given rise to correspondence.
