Mr. ArthurLewis asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, in view of the growing practice of some newspapers of publishing alleged factual information that the majority of muggings and attacks upon people in the streets is being carried out by black people, whether, to counteract this, he will publish a monthly statement of convictions with details of race and colour where known.
