asked the Lord Privy Seal whether any developments have occurred in establishing ways in which the relationship between the United Kingdom and the nations of South-East Asia could be improved, consequent upon his answer of 11 February, Official Report, c. 440.

Mr. Humphrey Atkins

The relationship between the United Kingdom and the non-Communist countries of South-East Asia is, in general, in excellent shape. My right hon. and noble Friend looks forward to further talks as opportunities arise with the leaders of the countries of the Association of South East Asian nations. He expects, for example, to have discussions with the Indonesian Foreign Minister in London on 4 March.
