§ Mr. PattieAgreement to the use of Mount Wise for the disposal of low level radioactive waste was given by the Department of the Environment in 1979, but there are currently no plans to make use of the facility for this purpose. The vaults have not been, and are not being, used for the storage of radioactive waste.
