§ 37. Sir Anthony Meyerasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will initiate discussions with the French Minister of Defence on the possibilities of 278W intensifying co-operation on defence planning and procurement between the European members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.
§ Mr. NottI met M. Hernu in April this year when we discussed the European contribution to alliance security, and a range of other subjects. I expect us to continue such discussions at future meetings.
