§ Mr. Geoffrey FinsbergThe average number of schoolchildren per full-time dental officer in the school dental service in England and Wales in 1980 was 6,028. Information is not available in respect of parliamentary constituencies, but the comparable figure for the East Anglian region was 6,008, and for the area of the former Cambridgeshire area health authority was 6,533.
The dental officers concerned spent some of their time treating patients other than in the school dental service.
