§ Mr. Austin Mitchellasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether, in view of the recent hostilities in the South Atlantic, the Government will now provide educational facilities in the United Kingdom as required to replace the facilities previously offered to the inhabitants of the Falkland Islands by Argentina.
§ Sir Keith JosephEducational facilities are already provided in the United Kingdom for inhabitants of the Falkland Islands, but the Government would readily consider ways of meeting increased requirements if they arose. I understand that in recent years it has been unusual for islanders to go to Argentina for their education.
