§ Mrs. ChalkerNo. When faults in motor cycle crash helmets are identified by the Department of Transport, they are taken up with the manufacturer. Motor cycle crash helmets are subject to the control of the British standard kitemark scheme and such faults are taken into account in the current review of the British standard.
