§ Mr. RaisonThe latest available information, for the first quarter of 1982, was published on 25 May in table 7 of the quarterly Home Office statistical bulletin, "Control of Immigration Statistics"—issue 9/82—a copy of which is in the Library of the House. That table shows that at the end of March 1982, 2,150 male fiances in the Indian subcontinent were awaiting a decision on their application.
