§ Mr. YoungerIn consultation with other Departments, including the Scottish Office, the Department of Industry is currently reviewing the operation of the small engineering firms investment scheme, but has no plans to re-introduce it at present. The right hon. Gentleman will be pleased to know that, as soon as the scheme was introduced, I ensured that all the engineering companies in Scotland on my Department's records were contacted directly and alerted to the potential benefits of assistance.
