§ Mr. Teddy Taylorasked the Prime Minister what progress has been made by Her Majesty's Government since 1979 in strengthening the links between the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth countries.
§ The Prime MinisterThe Government's links with the Commonwealth have developed very satisfactory since 1979 and we continue to give substantial support to a wide range of the association's institutions and activities. Our relations with the Commonwealth are excellent. I have been particularly gratified by the warm support which so many Commonwealth Governments have given us over the Falkland crisis.
