§ Mr. KingThe radioactive waste management advisory committee's third annual report to the Secretaries of State for the Environment, Scotland and Wales has been published today. I have placed copies in the Library of the House.
We are grateful to the chairman, Sir Denys Wilkinson, and to the members of the committee, for all the efforts they have devoted over the last year in making a significant 160W and authoritative contribution to thinking on this important subject. We have taken full note of the views they have expressed about a number of aspects of waste management, and these are being taken into account in drafting the forthcoming White Paper.
