§ Mr. WaddingtonThe Health and Safety Executive does not itself use live animals for research and product testing. It does, however, commission external research on occupational health matters, some of which necessarily involves the use of animals in experiments. The HSE has 39W also commissioned some research directed at seeking ways to replace animal experiments with less time consuming in vitro methods.
