§ The Attorney-GeneralNo records are kept of jury challenges. The motive for a challenge without cause is necessarily a matter of conjecture, but my hon. Friend is no doubt aware of cases in which challenges have produced a jury which did not reflect the ethnic composition of the area from which jurors were drawn.
