§ Dr. Edmund Marshallasked the Secretary of State for Transport at which selected sites it is intended to encourage the use of the Department's enforcement weighbridges by private transport operators.
§ Mr. EyreSelf-weighing is still in the early stage of practical development. Equipment currently on trial within Poole harbour is proving successful. An essential criterion in selecting probable inland sites will be the need to secure the equipment against vandalism and general mis-use.
