Member is accompanied by a copy; and whether she will again repeat her instruction to Ministers to ensure that their private offices comply, particularly in parliamentary recesses.
§ The Prime MinisterThe instruction that I have twice issued to Ministers' Private Offices at my hon. Friend's request asks them to include a copy of every Minister's letter to hon. Members on constituency cases, so that the copy can be forwarded to the constituent. The Department of Transport was included in my instruction, and it has assured me that it has acted on it. In the circumstances, I am sure my hon. Friend will agree that there is no need to repeat my instruction.
