§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if, in view of the fact that offensive weapons purchased abroad such as flick knives and knuckledusters are liable to confiscation by Her Majesty's Customs and Excise on the purchaser's re-entry into the United Kingdom, he will advise local education authorities to issue guidance to schools taking parties of pupils on overseas visits on the law relating to the import of such items.
§ Mr. William SheltonNo. Suitable guidance is already given in the publications of the central bureau for educational visits and exchanges, which are readily available to those taking school parties overseas.
