HC Deb 30 July 1982 vol 28 c825W
Mr. Latham

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment why he has declined to include representatives of the Melton borough council on working parties connected with disposal of spoil from the Belvoir coalfield; and whether he will reconsider his decision in this regard, in view of the concern expressed to him by the council and by the hon. Member for Melton.

Mr. Heseltine

I have carefully considered the representations made by my hon. Friend and by Melton borough council, but I do not think it would be right to alter the existing membership of the working parties since these are not concerned with the specific planning application made to the council.
