§ Mr. Dorrellasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he proposes to implement the suggestion by the Monopolies and Mergers Commission in its report on the Severn Trent water authority that the administration of local drainage should be reviewed.
§ Mr. Peter WalkerMy colleagues and I have now put in hand a review of the financial and administrative arrangements for land drainage and coast protection. We expect to issue a consultation paper early next year.
