§ Viscount Cranborneasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what financial provision he will be making available to meet the cost of rehabilitation work on the Falkland Islands.
§ Mr. Neil MartenI intend to make up to £10 million available. Parliamentary approval for this new service will be sought in a Supplementary Estimate for the Overseas Aid Vote. Pending that approval the necessary expenditure will be met by repayable advances from the Contingencies Fund.
